Who are the Adventurers?   Applying &Etiquette:

In recent history the Adventurer’s Banner was established by a group of strong individuals. Within the group was Oaklore, often appearing cold or uncaring but highly skilled in combat and magic. When he was born his mother had died of the labor. His father, mad with grief, was going to kill the son that killed his wife. However, a Druid saved him from a swift fate and raised him in a society of other druids. Oaklore learned the powers of the elements, the way of the druids grew strong. However he was restless, eternally so, and he left the druids grove and went out, stricken with wander lust, seeking always to travel and leave a mark on the world.

Years passed and Oaklore had become reknown as a powerful hero. Many tales were spun and many young man and woman were inspired by his ways; run-a-ways, soldiers, men and women from all walks of life soon found a happy lifestyle or great hardship following in the footsteps of the Questseeker.

After many years, the role of an adventurer had become quite popular. It was then three friends, and notable adventurer’s themselves took it upon themselves to build tribute to Oaklore, a man who so many found inspiration in, and build the Adventuer’s Citadel. A haven to any road weary adventurer, where men and women of wanderlust could take refuge and rest whenever the need, trade tales, drink ale and sell treasures taken from their heroic journies.

Oaklore, having never spent the night under roof or resting idle, was flattered by the gesture and called upon every traveler just once to come to the citadel. It was a massive event, a celebration of all adventurers that stories are still told about. Adventurers often refer to it as “The Meet” and provide tales of party antics, or fights, boasting and brawling. It was here Oaklore declared any traveler, any questseeker, might find refuge and safty within the walls of the citadel, that while each
man and woman was a loner unto themselves, in times of need there would be aid and otherwise from their kin. Those of the Meet were forever bonded, solitary men and women of the lands, joined in brotherhood of heroism. If aid was ever needed, one only had but ask. It was then that Oaklore raised a single flag over the Citadel, The Adventurer’s Banner.

Applicants must be at least level 20.

Must be note worthy, members of the Banner must at least prove they are adventuers unto themselves. When someone is labeled an adventurer, hero or otherwise they best have more than one story to tell and as with all adventurers, it better be a good one.

Members of AB are all individuals, and there are many degrees of alignment within, aslong as there is no drastic alignment holdings they are welcome to be part of the Banner. (While people can be good or evil, lawful or chaotic in their actions, as long as their main priority is to wander, and explore they are free to be a member)

Members of AB must be have an RP line established before applying to the clan, anyone can conform to a clan RP, but AB is based around the individuals that make it up, and is
not necessarily a tightly woven group all holding to the same ideals.

Members of AB will not have pack mule characters or alts in other PK clans. Adventurers are people in the business of becoming part of legend, a character in the story, a hero unto themselves, not dominating the world amassing wealth or treasure.

Applicants will have an informal sit down with at least two Adventurers, this meeting will most likely take place outside the citadel, most commonly in a bar, opium den, inn, or tavern. Should the applicant present himself as an inspired traveler and willing to wear the badge of a wanderer, he will most likely be givin a task of initiation by members. The task can be and usually is anything. From hunting out a treasure, slaying a beast, or even running through the local bar buck nekkid, adventurer’s can be quite giving, or humiliating, depending on who you talk to.
